Dairy

  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped plain cream cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup finely crumbled goat cheese
  • 12 oz mixed cheeses, such as cubes, wedges or slices of sharp (old) white Cheddar, Havarti, Brie and blue cheese

Baking & Spices

  • 1/4 cup confectioners’ (icing) sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

Condiment

  • 2 tbsp raspberry jelly

Produce

  • 1 pkg (6 oz) raspberries
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups mixed red fruit, such as chopped, whole or sliced strawberries, cherries and watermelon
  • 4 cups mixed blue/purple fruit, such as chopped, whole or sliced blueberries, blackberries, grapes and figs
  • 4 cups mixed vegetables, such as chopped, whole or sliced grape tomatoes, radishes, red bell peppers and cauliflower florets

Directions

This eye-catching red-white-and-blue charcuterie board with sweet raspberry ripple dip and savory Mediterranean dip is a fun and festive way to celebrate the Fourth of July.

In medium bowl, stir together half the cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, raspberry jelly and vanilla until blended. Transfer to serving dish. Top with fresh raspberries. Transfer to serving board.

In another medium bowl, stir together remaining cream cheese, goat cheese, garlic and oregano. Drizzle with oil. Top with olives and sun-dried tomatoes. Transfer to serving dish and arrange on serving board.

Arrange crackers, cheeses, mix of fruits, mix of vegetables, charcuterie meats, dried fruits and nuts on board with dips, color-blocking the red, white and blue colors for a festive Fourth of July effect.

TIPS: Round out the board with any other condiments or nibbles in the red, white and blue theme, such as chilies in oil, harissa sauce and/or sliced drained jarred roasted red peppers.

Use cookie cutters to create stars out of cheese slices, and use patriotic-colored bowls or star-shaped bowls for serving.
