Roasted Jalapeño Guacamole

  • Crackers
  • 1 pkg (4 oz) Crunchmaster® Multi-Grain Sea Salt
  • Produce
  • 2 jalapeño peppers
  • 2 ripe avocados, halved, pitted and peeled
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Oil and Vinegar
  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • Baking and Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  1. 1. Preheat broiler. Toss jalapeños with oil; place on foil-lined baking sheet. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until lightly charred all over; let cool completely, then seed and dice.


  1. 2. Lightly mash avocados with lime juice. Stir in jalapeños, red onion, cilantro, garlic, chili powder and salt. Transfer to serving bowl. Serve with crackers for dipping.


Tip: Jalapeño peppers can also be grilled on the barbecue.
